ABLETON

So my Ableton arrived a couple of days ago, so I was pretty psyched. I hadn't gotten a chance to really play with it again until today though. I forgot how absolutely sick it was. Me being the hugest jew in the world however bought the Academic version, so i had to register it. I even got it off ebay. For anyone who is actually looking into this, I was talking to MS-DOS about it the other day and we were talking about how expensive it was. I managed to save $160 on the ebay academic version, and it works just the same. The only downfall was re-registering. To properly register it you have to switch licenses with the previous owner, by providing school ID and proof of enrollment. Amazingly, the time it took for me to actually register was maybe an hour - the customer care at ableton is amazingly good. I even emailed from a different address and asked to be registered with a different one, and they totally understood. I HEART! More music soon but we just got a half week off school so it's par-tay time.
Other news, our gig is CONFIRMED on saturday the 14th of March. So i guessed right about the non-follow-through on the thursday gig but it's all good. I'm excited ahhaha.
