Nameplay

It's so refreshing to get an earnest email from some earnest dudes who are just doing their thangg.. This time around those earnest young dudes would be Ianizer & Lemethy. They started popping beats in 2009 and have been goin' full steam since, reppin' PLENTY of tracks up for FREE on their SoundCloud. Definitely give that shit a listen, it's hoppin' hardd. With a background in singing, songwriting, multiple instruments and 8-bit, it's not surprising. My faves below:

Shiny Toy Guns - Le Disko (Ianizer & Lemethy Twonk Remix) by Ianizer and Lemethy

Robyn - Konichiwa Bitches (Ianizer & Lemethy remix) by Ianizer and Lemethy

Noob & Brodinski - Peanuts Club (Ianizer & Lemethy remix) by Ianizer and Lemethy

BONUS:
I always forget how fun it is to post on here..

Sharam Feat. Kid Cudi - She Came Along (Doorly Dupstep Remix)

50 Cent Vs. Gordon Freeman - In Da Club with Zombies (Original Mix)

Pursuit Of Happiness

Woke up this AM with a text waiting from AntEater telling me to get on this track. Big release from Aoki and in my opinion a whole lot better than his Forever remix

Kid Cudi, MGMT & Ratatat - Pursuit Of Happiness - (Steve Aoki Dance Remix) [128kbps]

------------------------------- BONUS --------------------------------

Next is a little fun track from The Oddword called "Hello Goodbye." When the beat drops at 0:37 shit gets pretty nasty. Liking this a lot

The Oddword - Hello Goodbye [320kbps]

Bitch Fight!

So Halloween was kind of fucking awesome, tough luck to everyone who missed out on Carpe Noctem at Home, you really missed out! Club was going crazy!

So straight to business, found Bitch Fight and its a little unusual but after a few listens it really started to grow on me. Maybe the name has something to do with it?

Trevor Loveys & Affie Yusuf - Bitch Fight feat. Spoek (Touch Remix) [320kbps]

The next track is not new but I played it on Halloween and the crowd went dumb for it, AntEater loved it to so I thought I would throw it up, definitely one of the must haves of this post

Benny Benassi - Satisfaction 2009 (Johnny Max Remix) [320kbps]

A buddy of mine hooked me up with the next one, shit is hot I'm loving it

Peet Van Thees - Your Mind (Vinterra Electro Remix) [320kbps]

Everyone loves Klaas, and I love the original "Our Own Way" but this is a pretty good remix I'm enjoying, more of an electro feel to it

Klaas - Our Own Way (DJ Zam Remix) [128kbps]
^^^ super crisp for a 128

This remix is dope, it's got a much heavier feel to it compared to most Bob Sinclar tracks so props to Fisher Noman for the originality here

Bob Sinclar - New New New (Fisher Noman Remix) [176kbps]

The Ghostface Killah loop gets a little repetitive but the beat is sick and is definitely a good filler track for a set

Ghostface Killah - Charlie Brown (Yuksek Remix) [320kbps]

Benny Benassi is coming to HK on the 19th of November so I am stoked for that, in the meantime heres a nice little remix he did, I don't usually like Kid Cudi but I make a very rare exception for this track.. thanks to Benassi & MGMT of course!

Kid Cudi, MGMT & Ratatat - Pursuit of Happiness (Benny Benassi Remix) [320kbps]

Everyone knows Till West, at least everyone knows Till West's "Same Man" because its fucking hot, I love Ludacris too and to my delight I just found a SICK mash up of Ludacris's "Stand Up" and "Same Man" - MUST HAVE!

Till West VS Ludacris - Same (Damgroove Remix) [192kbps]

AND to end on a good note a new LA Riots remix, this is another must have, this post is a must have, but this is even more of a must have... ya diggg?

VHS Or Beta - Feel It When You Know (LA Riots remix) [320kbps]

Got plenty more tracks ready for posting over the next couple days, just didn't want to make this post too monstrous so check back soon for more hot tunes.

ENJOY!

Pinky Girl Is In The House

Back again with some early week tunes

First up the new Bloody Beetroots track "Pinky Girl" its the typical Bloody Beetroot sound so if ya dig their usual style you'll dig this too

The Bloody Beetroots & Zingone - Pinky Girl [256kbps]

I'm not usually a big fan of Kid Cudi but this is not bad at all, it's a more electro house take of "She Came Along"

Sharam ft. Kid Cudi – She Came Along (Jean Elan Edit) [256kbps]

Lee Mortimer is sick and so is MC Flipside, I think TMLZ will dig this little fidget gem

Lee Mortimer ft. MC Flipside – That Thing (Vocal Mix) [171kbps]

I've really been diggin AC Slater lately, he's releasing some crazy remixes and they just keep coming, keep um coming!

D.I.M - Airbus Baby (AC Slater Edit) [320kbps]

Almost everyone knows Steve Aoki's "I'm In The House" by now, I liked the original but I like this more. I also like Gigi Barocco. This is a MUST hear

Steve Aoki ft. Zuper Blahq - I'm In The House (Gigi Barocco Remix) [320kbps]

A-Trak's new remix of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's "Heads Will Roll" is off the chainnn, too bad the best we could get is a BBC Radio rip, look out for the 320 soon!

Yeah Yeah Yeah - Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix) [256kbps]

ENJOY!

Evolution

The new CDJ-2000s were officially released last night at Midnight Cali time, and i am insanely impressed. Not only did they have the expected mp3/usb/sc card compatibility, but new effects like Needle Search? I can see how useful that is already. Might as well have taken out the previous search keys. The new player incorporates the best of all worlds, with an auto 4 beat that can decide for itself what you were thinking, and jumps to the nearest beat if you juuust missed it. It's like having the 800's loop bank in one button. Hot Cues are still hot cues, which are great. I've kinda skirted the main addition, which is the new music library function. Basically, it provides DJs with the ability to fuck CDs. Which is useful. My CDs are already taking up way too much room in my tiny ass dorm. Basically I wish i had them. Time to start saving...

Also available are the CDJ-900s! The 900 is the toned down, probably cheaper, version of the 2000. Instead of Hot Cues, they keep the Hot Loops from the 800's. The don't have Needle Search or the built in "roll effect." I'm curious to see how each of these will fare. I've always wondered why Pioneer keeps the Hot Loops/Hot Cues seperate from each other. Hmm..
